Michael Janney has this week joined the Construction and Dispute Resolution teams of Healys.Michael has over 36 years' experience of acting in major contentious construction and engineering cases in the United Kingdom and internationally. He acts for employers, developers, main contractors, specialist subcontractors, NHS Trusts, education establishments, care home companies and housing associations in the United Kingdom.Michael was the former head of construction at Brachers and specialises in disputes relating to defective workmanship, negligent design, extensions of time, loss and expense, measurement and final account payments and tunnelling works. He also advises on dispute avoidance and the provision of risk management guidance throughout the course of projects and he fully advises on the preparation of construction claims, mediation, adjudication, expert determination and arbitration.Marios Pattihis, Senior Partner says: "I am delighted to welcome Michael to Healys.
