David Schollenberger, Partner and head of Gaming, Hotels and Leisure at Healys LLP, will be moderating a panel discussion on the progress and development of the Integrated Casino Resort, as well as taking part in a discussion about the possible benefits and disruptions caused by the Integrated Casino Resort to the Cyprus Hotel Industry.
In his role as legal advisor to the Government of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to the Integrated Casino Resort, David has extensive experience in regulatory and compliance issues for both land based and online gaming and betting and in large scale casino and resort development.
The Cyprus Gaming Show, now in its second year, has already established itself in the market as the first gaming event bringing the land based and online gaming and betting sectors together. It will focus on Cyprus as the location for the largest and only true integrated casino resort in Europe and its growth as a regional gaming centre. This year’s agenda is designed to explore various topics including the progress of the integrated casino resort development, navigating the current regulations landscape and the future of the gaming and betting market in Cyprus, as well as the country’s evolving tax structure and role as a dynamic business and investment centre.
David notes, “It is an exciting time for the Republic of Cyprus with the introduction of casino gambling and expansion of sports betting online. I am delighted to be participating in the Cyprus Gaming Show again this year and look forward to further interesting and animated discussions between the Cyprus government, gaming and betting operators and gaming suppliers and service providers.”
The Cyprus Gaming Show is an annual event bringing speakers and delegates together to network, gain valuable insights and identify new opportunities, and will take place on the 29th and 30th May at the Grand Resort in Limassol.
