Andrew Williamson and Nils Reid join our London office to lead our Capital Markets department. Both accomplished corporate lawyers with a wealth of experience in capital markets, Andrew and Nils are established dealmakers and bring considerable expertise to the firm.
With an impressive track record advising on corporate and capital market transactions, Andrew Williamson has extensive experience of listings on the major stock markets around the world, and has also experience of both public and private corporate transactions and the creation of domestic and international investment funds. In addition to his experience as a lawyer, Andrew spent a number of years with City corporate stockbroker Peel Hunt where he was both a sponsor to the Main Market and a nomad for AIM. Prior to joining Healys he also spent 11 years accredited through the FCA being responsible for the corporate finance activities of his firm including approval of financial promotions and advising on the regulatory aspects of collective and non-collective investment schemes and other FSMA related corporate finance matters.
Nils Reid is an experienced debt capital markets lawyer and regularly advises issuers and arrangers in relation to the creation and listing of debt instruments on markets around the world. He specialises in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, frequently with an international element, and can advise public companies, Nominated Advisers, brokers and investors on IPOs, secondary issues, corporate governance and corporate finance.

Our experienced Capital Markets team advises clients on all aspects of debt capital issuances in international capital markets, acting for investment banks and issuers in a broad range of debt and equity offerings and on a number of stock exchanges. We have particular expertise in working with issuers on the creation of stand-alone bonds, high yield bonds and MTN programmes including listing, continuing obligations and securitisation.
