Leading Law firm Healys has expanded its operation with the appointment of 2 new partners, Karen Lord and Gemma Williams, in its Brighton office.
Karen Lord joins Healys as partner and heads a new localised corporate team based in Brighton.With 20 years of experience and significant expertise, Karen specialises in corporate transactional work for UK and International clients. Recognised as a leader in her field by both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, she can provide advice and assistance in all corporate matters, including cross-border transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, demergers and private equity investment.
Gemma Williams has been appointed partner within the Commercial Litigation team, having been with Healys since 2008. Specialising in contractual disputes and negligence, Gemma has experience acting for individuals and companies in a broad range of litigation matters, including breach of contract, negligence, landlord and tenant disputes, freehold/leasehold disputes, debt recovery and property litigation.
