Expert evidence was commissioned in the fields of acoustics, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering and valuation. The proceedings involved commissioning expert evidence in the fields of building and quantity surveying, environmental remediation and property valuation.
    Case Study 3

Issues included defective design, workmanship and materials, design and scope of the remedial work, appropriate professional supervision of same, exclusion clauses, delays and consequential losses.

    Case Study 5
Acting on behalf of a groundworks sub-contractor in a dispute with a developer involving a range of construction projects throughout the south east of England. Issues included variations, defective works, disputed final accounts, retentions, suspension of works by the contractor under Section 111 of the Construction Act 1996, inadequate remediation of contaminated brownfield land, asbestos contamination, claims for loss and expense including site preliminaries and overheads and diminution in market value.
