Amy joined Healys in September 2019 as a solicitor in the Employment team.
Amy advises on all aspects of employment law and workplace issues, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, settlement agreements, grievance/disciplinary procedures, performance management and whistle-blowing. With particular expertise advising senior executives in the financial services and legal professions, she has also significant experience working on a wide range of Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
She acts for and advises employers and employees and is committed to achieving the best practical outcome for her clients.
Amy qualified as a solicitor in April 2018, having qualified as a legal executive in February 2018, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Successfully represented an employer resisting an interim relief application in the Employment Tribunal.
Assisted with representing a Senior Executive in the financial industry under the SMCR for whistle-blowing and GDPR.
Advising HR on breach of restrictive covenants and bringing injunction proceedings.
Advising employees on performance management, grievance and disciplinary issues.
Judicial and private mediation.
