The Starr Trust, one of Brighton’s leading children’s charities recently appointed Partner and Head of Media at Healys, Nicholas Taylor, as Ambassador.
The Starr Trust is an independent, family run charity, which supports young people aged 10 –18 to fulfil their potential through sports, arts and education, by giving a helping hand to achieve their goals at a time when they really need it. The Starr Trust supports young persons through financial grants of up to £5000 for those in need living in the BN post code area of the UK (Edward Starr Awards), training and development of skills, as well as new connections and mentoring schemes.
On Sunday 10th February 2019, at The Jive Aces Big Beat Revue event, which took place at the Aldwych Theatre in London, Nick appeared before a packed house of approximately 1000 guests at this sell-out event. Nick took this opportunity to highlight to the audience some of the fantastic achievements the charity has supported in its ten years of operating, such as helping over 4,000 young people fulfil their potential through sports, arts and education.
Nicholas Taylor comments:
“I am delighted and honoured to announce my appointment today as an Ambassador to the Starr Trust Charity. The Starr Trust supports young people across Sussex in achieving their goals and dreams in the arts, sport and education. It has been a privilege to get to know the team and see the real difference they make. I look forward to working alongside all of the Starr Trust team and their Patron Robin Cousins in 2019.”
