We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property solicitor with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience (or equivalent) to join our lively and expanding Commercial Property team, based in our central London office. This is a newly-created role.

Opportunities for advancement are considerable and you will enjoy plenty of responsibility, within a friendly and proactive team and dealing with high quality work.

You must be an established Commercial Property practitioner, with recent relevant experience. An established following would be an advantage, although this is not essential. We are seeking a conveyancing assistant or paralegal to join the busy Residential Real Estate department in our central London office.

Enthusiastic & hard working, you will assist a team of qualified fee-earners in the running of live files. You will support all aspects of conveyancing transactions, from instructions through to post completion, liaising with all parties and providing administrative assistance throughout the conveyancing process.

Previous conveyancing experience in a legal environment is required. We support further training & development.

You must be confident and competent working to timescales, able to use your initiative, commercially aware and have strong inter-personal skills. A team approach and flexibility are vital, as too is self confidence in talking to clients by phone.

This is a full-time role. Some hybrid working may be possible after successful completion of our three month probationary period, although this is not guaranteed.

Duties will include:

  • File opening
  • AML compliance
  • Dealing with administrative exchange formalities completion and post completion tasks
  • Drafting financial statements and invoices
  • Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
  • Archiving
  • General administration tasks and the updating of internal and external systems
  • You will also have contact, with supervision, with various parties involved in transactions

Paralegal/Fee Earner, Private Client

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our Private Client team, based in our friendly and diverse centrally-located Brighton office.

The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with client instructions, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and with administration of estates.

You may be a qualified Legal Executive, studying CILEx or a paralegal with previous experience in this field.

You will:

  • Have experience of preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney;
  • Manage administration of estates with limited supervision (including drafting forms to account to HMRC);
  • Draft accounts for estates;
  • Be eager to learn about dealing with more complex estates and Wills; and
  • Potentially, manage your own cases in your own name, under supervision.

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive to join the successful Real Estate department in our Brighton office.

You will be joining a busy, diverse and proactive team, supporting an experienced fee-earner and dealing with high quality work. You should be keen to take on a challenging and varied role and prospects for advancement in due course are good.

You will be assisting in the running of live files, in addition to supporting your supervisor in all aspects of conveyancing transactions, from instructions through to post completion. The work involves liaising with all parties and providing administrative and legal assistance throughout the conveyancing process.

Previous paralegal or legal executive fee-earning conveyancing experience in a legal environment is required and you should ideally also have relevant legal qualifications. We do however offer support for different routes to qualification, if successful.

You must have a good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion and practical experience in raising enquiries, reviewing replies and report drafting (under supervision), be confident and competent to work to timescales, able to use your initiative, commercially aware and have good inter-personal skills. A team approach and flexibility are vital.

Duties will include:

  • File opening and AML compliance
  • Dealing with administrative exchange formalities completion and post completion tasks
  • Preparing reports on title, mortgages and searches (with supervision)
  • Raising and reviewing enquiries on title and contract packs, searches and surveys (with supervision).
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to progress transactions.
  • Drafting financial statements and invoices
  • General administration tasks and the updating of internal and external systems
  • You will also have client contact, with supervision.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking paralegal to join our very busy, established and highly regarded Commercial Property department in London.

This is a permanent, full-time role, with hybrid working a possibility on completion of probation and training. You will be supporting a solicitor in our London team and previous paralegal experience, while useful, is not a requirement for the role. You will however have appropriate legal qualifications, with good grades, and a real interest in developing a career in this field of law – and be able to hit the ground running!

You should be highly organised and pragmatic, with strong communication and inter-personal skills. A positive attitude, team approach and flexibility is key and you must be self-confident, proactive and adaptable.

Our London office is friendly & diverse, centrally-located, in Holborn. We offer salary at market rate, with opportunity to work to a bonus-linked target in due course. Prospects for development and advancement are very good.
