The team’s attention is now on Germany as they travel to play them next month. Preparations are well on the way and they hope to deliver another strong performance.

Georgia said:

“It was an amazing and emotional experience kitting up for GB in front of my friends and family in the stadium as well as those watching the live stream at home. GB had previously lost to Sweden during the last European Championships in 2019 but with lots of new faces on both squads it was hard for anyone to predict the result. The score was 27-0 by half time and as a Defence we wanted nothing more than to shutout Sweden for the entirety of the game. The game finished 40-0 and it was a true testament to all the work we had put in during our camps leading up to the game. I am now in preparation for our next game in Germany and I am excited for the opportunity to represent Great Britain again. ”

Georgia has been playing American football for 6 years, taking inspiration from watching her brother play. Georgia’s brother (Adrian Teague) was the first UK player to get a scholarship to a US high school and finished his playing career winning the national championship in Denmark.
