Healys Energy and Infrastructure team advise on the full range of matters for energy, infrastructure, and natural resources clients, including project finance, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, fund and tax structuring, commercial contracts, cross-border trading, construction and project management, operation and maintenance contracts, supply and off-take agreements, transportation and capacity reservation agreements, LNG purchase and sale agreements, as well as related litigation matters.
The team is led by Andrei Baev who specialises in advising on the development and financing of oil and gas upstream, midstream and downstream projects, independent power projects, nuclear power projects, and mining, telecommunication and infrastructure projects throughout the world, with a focus on the emerging markets of Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Middle East.
Andrei acts for sponsors, international banks, financial institutions, export credit agencies and multilateral lending agencies in project finance transactions.
Our strong industry contacts allow us to introduce clients to each other, bridge negotiation positions of parties and assist clients with establishing new successful business partnerships, project companies or joint ventures. We also offer alternative fee structures that add commercial value to sponsors at the project development stage.
We focus on projects in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, etc.), Russia and Cyprus.
