Delwar Hussain
Delwar qualified as a solicitor in March 2019 having obtained a distinction in the Legal Practice Course joint with a Masters. Prior to joining Healys in November 2021, Delwar worked as a litigation solicitor for a boutique London West End law firm.
Delwar has extensive experience and specialises in commercial litigation matters ranging from complex commercial and contractual disputes to debt recovery claims. He is regularly instructed by companies and individuals to act on cases in the High Court of Justice but also deals with cases in the County Court.
Delwar also deals with a variety of landlord and tenant and real property disputes including: acting for landlords on possession claims, advising landlords and tenants on service charge disputes, advising landlords and tenants on breach of covenant claims, tenancy deposit disputes, dilapidations disputes and property ownership disputes. He has dealt with claims in the High Court Business and Property Courts, County Court and First Tier Tribunal.
As a member of the PNLA (Professional Negligence Lawyers' Association), Delwar regularly advises clients on professional negligence claims against professionals including claims against architects, solicitors, surveyors and estate agents. He is recognised for his expertise in Professional Negligence by leading industry directory the Legal 500, and accredited as a Recommended Lawyer in the field.
Delwar is regularly praised as being a friendly and approachable solicitor to instruct as well as handling client matters in a unique, adaptive style and achieving goals for his clients.
