Ellis joined Healys as a solicitor in July 2025 following his qualification. He read law at Aston University, graduating with first-class honours in 2021, before completing the LLM LPC at BPP University with distinction.

Ellis advises on commercial property, real estate finance and development transactions, acting for property owners, investors, developers, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants. His experience includes acquisitions and disposals, commercial lettings, lease renewals, assignments, underlettings, title due diligence and matters involving easements, restrictive covenants and development constraints.

He additionally acts in real estate finance and acts on acquisition, investment and refinancing transactions, advising on property due diligence, security documents, lender requirements, conditions precedent, undertakings and post-completion matters. Ellis also advises on construction documentation connected with development projects, including building contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties, and assists with general corporate and property aspects of corporate transactions.

He takes a practical and commercially focused approach, identifying material risks and explaining their implications clearly while progressing transactions efficiently. Outside work, Ellis is a keen rugby player and has played both touch and contact rugby from a young age across London and Essex.
