Georgia Teague to represent Team GB in the Women's American Football Euros

Healys are proud to sponsor legal specialist Georgia Teague in the Women’s American Football Euros.
Georgia, a Litigation Paralegal at Healys LLP, plays Middle Linebacker for Team GB who are competing against Finland for the silver medal in the IFAF Women’s American Football European Championships on Saturday.
As well as being selected to play for Team GB, Georgia plays a huge role in developing upcoming players into the sport.
Georgia has recently completed her first season as Head Coach of the Brighton Panthers (University of Brighton American Football Team), in which the team earnt promotion, won a national championship and were awarded BUCS Team of the Year by the University.
On the back of her success with Brighton Panthers, last month Georgia was awarded British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Coach of the Year and was invited to speak at the BAFCA Coaching Convention 2024 alongside coaches from NFL Teams, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers.
Georgia also coaches Flag Football to local children aged 8 to 17 with Brighton & Hove Scorpions. This non-contact version of the sport is soon to be an Olympic event as of LA 2028 and Georgia is excited for the prospect that players coached by her may have a shot at competing for a medal in the next Olympics.
